On this website you can find out about my many passions, which mainly centre around supporting highly sensitive creatives, wellbeing practitioners and carers to feel more confident and clear about their purpose.

I’ve written a book called Jack in Dreamschool, my personal account of supporting two neurodivergent sons through traumatic experiences within mainstream schooling. One of my major passions is empowering vulnerable, misunderstood people. This started with my mum when I grew up watching her struggle, and has developed over the past decade or two as I learned more and more about neurodiversity in order to be the compassionate mum my sons needed. I understand that compassion is key to engendering authentic healing and positive change in the world. I’m an advocate for acceptance and am passionate about enabling more highly sensitive people to find inner safety, security and steadiness.

Through ceramics and mixed media painting, my embodiment of the mother/nature compassionate spirit comes out through my work. With Green Women, lots of leaves, and a celebration of the strength of the feminine, I’m beginning to feel like all my passions are unified and coherent for the first time!

Something I don’t find easy is asking for help or relying on other people, partly because I know that everyone has something they’re struggling with. That’s why TCM and Zen healing and coaching are invaluable. Because TCM positions you as the protagonist AND author of your healing journey, I quickly moved towards easily quieting anxious thoughts, clearing physical and emotional blocks (no more IBS!) and fulfilling the purpose I’d always known was meant for me in helping other people to feel happier, healthier and more relaxed.

I discovered my purpose many years ago – guiding people to heal themselves through mindful self care practices including qigong exercises, meditation, Tuina, Daoist breathing and acupressure massage, mindset work and creativity. Intuitive coaching supports you to manifest your happiest, healthiest, most relaxed life. I have 30 years experience and training in helping people find inner peace and regain their steadiness and sparkle.

For more than 15 years I’ve lived in Cambridgeshire with my husband, two boys, and dog, but I’ve lived in many parts of England and travelled all over the world.

My dream is to spread the Restore Balance radical compassion movement far and wide. It’s all about creating the change you want to see in the world. Healing starts with love, and grows with compassion. Starting with my ‘Short Course in Finding Happiness’, you can create a life where your high sensitivity and empathy are harnessed to create something magical in a world that needs balance. More info in the link above (Zen Healing with Compassionate Coaching).

You’ll find support for relaxation, anxiety, creativity, grief, depression, mindset, flexibility, menstrual issues, and lots more.

I’m also very excited to share with you some of my artwork – which is an integral part of my self care practice, as well as my first book! Jack in Dreamschool is a fictionalised account of my son’s difficult experiences in mainstream school. Follow the link below to find out more:
